From Crisis to Command
I believe health is a blessing, but vitality is a responsibility. We cannot control every outcome, but we can shape our daily reality through the choices we make.
With over 25 years of corporate experience in Engineering, Marketing, and Change Management, I spent decades solving complex problems for organizations. But the biggest test of my skills didn’t happen in boardrooms. It happened in hospital rooms.
I have faced aggressive cancer—twice—seven years apart.
Life handed me a crisis that should have broken me. Instead, I used the same principles of Change Management I used in business to manage my own biology. I didn’t just survive the diagnosis; I built a system to thrive in spite of it.
The “Macaroon” Mindset
You have heard the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” That is the survival mindset—making the best of a bad situation.
I believe in the Thriving Mindset. When life gave me lemons, I didn’t make lemonade. I made lemon macaroons with coconut buttercream.
Why? Because lemonade is common. Macaroons are premium. I teach my clients that you do not have to settle for a “watered-down” version of life after a setback. You can take the bitter ingredients of stress, illness, or burnout and transform them into something far more valuable.
